Innovative Design Project of Alpine Skiing Equipment from the Perspective of Health Design


  • Project Positioning: This is an innovative equipment design project centered on "health protection + intelligent interaction", focusing on the safety and experience pain points of alpine skiing. It aims to address issues such as the lack of safety early warning, single interaction, and insufficient personalized adaptation of traditional equipment through technology integration and user demand matching, thereby enhancing sports safety and user experience.

  • Core Work:

    • Demand Research and Innovation Direction Definition: Identified industry pain points through questionnaires and interviews, clarified the differentiated needs of teenage, middle-aged, and elderly users for equipment, and determined three innovation dimensions: "intelligent protection, adaptive safety, and AR interaction + age customization".

    • Core Solution Design: Led the design and implementation of a multi-part sensor protection system (implanting MEMS sensors in five injury-prone parts to monitor posture in real time and provide error correction through vibration and visual prompts), an intelligent trigger-type binding, and AR ski goggles (equipped with SLAM technology to realize terrain scanning and route planning, and dividing movement modes by age).

    • AI Tool Application: Used Midjourney and Runway ML to generate equipment effect and scenario simulation videos, and optimized the AR interface layout through AI-driven user behavior simulation to adapt to the operating habits of different age groups.


  • Project Achievements: Formed an innovative alpine skiing equipment solution that combines safety protection and personalized experience, providing a reusable technical integration idea of "sensor + AR + age customization" for sports health equipment design. It is planned to expand to scenarios such as snowboarding and mountaineering and promote commercial testing in the future.
