"Unfrozen Voices: ALS Life Dialogue Field" is a future-oriented virtual immersive space design project. It directly addresses the core dilemma faced by ALS patients today—"loss of physical motor function yet free consciousness". Most patients struggle to convey emotions and needs through traditional means; public perception of this group remains largely limited to their condition, and existing digital accessible designs also lack attention to the "emotional expression of neurodiverse groups".

Based on this, the project takes "Consciousness Breakthrough: Reconstructing Life Resonance in the Digital Dimension" as its core concept. Aligning with the development trends of digital technology in 2040, it builds a virtual space parallel to reality. By collecting patients' biological data such as brainwaves and eye-tracking trajectories, integrating medical data modeling and generative art algorithms, the project designs a three-stage narrative: "Frozen Realm (a confined space simulating physical limitations) → Struggle Domain (breakthrough interaction driven by biological data) → Symbiosis Sphere (an open field for free resonance of consciousness)". This allows patients' emotions and thoughts to be expressed through dynamic changes in the space's light, shadow, and form.

In terms of technical implementation, the project uses Midjourney to generate spatial concept maps, converts them into dynamic effects via Runway, and then builds an interactive system through Unity 3D. It is paired with commercial EEG devices to achieve data-driven functionality, while local data storage and an ethical review mechanism are implemented to ensure security. The project not only provides ALS patients with a barrier-free channel for self-expression but also enables the public to intuitively understand patients' predicaments through VR experiences. It fills the gap in "emotional interaction" within digital accessible design and offers a practical, implementable model for empowering vulnerable groups through technology.
